Agent-X-2[Mastertronic] |
Agent-X-2 is correct. All data is on one side. |
Agent Orange[A'n'F] |

...both sides are 48k. |
Bully's Sporting Darts[Alternative] |
On inlay wrote, what game have "48&special 128k versions.
But, 128k version doesn't appeared on side-B. "...both sides are exactly the same,
both sides are the same as the current tzx file which appears correct..."-Steve. |
Car Race[Wintersoft] |
Current .tzx version comes from M1 snapshot file. I'm not sure, what this is original release.
"Looking at Car Race, I would say that's fine as well... There have been rare occasions where
Multiface Snapshot's have been on original tapes, notibly some Alternative re-releases but also a recent original that I managed to source..."-Steve. |

Question levels (side-b) is missing?
"Cashcade has also been tested, both sides are the same and the current .tzx is fine."-Steve. |

Cosmic Shock Absorber[Martech] |
Protection is Speedlock-2, current .tzx is fine. |
Cosmic Pirate[Byteback] |
Game don't work on 128k machines. I think, what original release from Byteback is MIA.
"Cosmic Pirate has been checked, the inlay itself is generic apart from the artwork so I think the game is 48k only and the extra 128k blurb is
unintentional. The game is also an original release, developed by Lothlorien and released by Byte-Back, so there is no MIA original release."-Steve. |
Daley Thompson's Supertest (128 v.)[Ocean] |
There is a ROM loader (not Speedlock-2 loader, as in 'The Hit Squad' re-release). The current file is fine. |
Dark Star[Design Design] |
Original (not Fireird re-release) tzx version don't work. Something wrong with tzx file?
"Dark Star seems fine. I've checked it with the latest version of SPIN with the "Invert Polarity" option set and it works fine... Looks like an emulator issue."-Steve. |
Deactivators[Ariolasoft/Firebird] |
There's no 128k version in Firebird re-release. |
Deep Strike[Durell] |
128k version - missing???.
"current .tzx file is correct, there is no alternate 128k version"-Steve. |
Dirt Track Racer[Zeppelin Games] |
"the tzx file is fine, checked both sides of the tape and they're identical."-Steve. |
Dragon's Lair-2[Software Projects/Encore] |
Side-A merged with Side-B?

Dragon Spirit[Domark/The Hit Squad] |
Dragon Spirit is fine, the sides are not merged. |
Fernandez[Image Works] |
Possibly, missing Side-b (128k version with ay music and effects).
"The manual mentions a 128k version on disk and 48k version on tape only...
Checked my tape and both sides are 48k only... Therefore the current .tzx file is fine.."-Steve. |
Fist-2[Melbourne House/Mastertronic +] |
May be missing second part (Combat Practice Program)?
Fist-2 (Mastertronic+) is correct. No Combat Program is on the tape. |
Flip Flap[SSS] |
Game very often 'crashes' in 48 (128) mode.
"...checked Flip Flap and the data looks fine"-Steve. |

In 128k version wrong block with lenght - 171 bytes.
"...checked Gilbert, and there is an additional block of 171 bytes on the tape."-Steve. |
Growing Pains Of Adrian Mole[Virgin Games/Ricochet] |
Tzx is fine, side-A not merged with Side-B. |
Havoc[Players] |
Music in 128k version work only on +2a/+3 machines. Very strange. May be
Players Premier released "different" 128k version? (or 128k version on side-a/b,after 48k/+2a/+3 version?)
Havoc checked. |
Hideous[Alternative] |
I'm not sure, what in archive original release.

Jump[Ventamatic/Unique] |
There's must be block with lenght 29737 bytes after basic loader, instead two blocks with length: 8056 and 21587 bytes?

Lords Of Midnight[Beyond] |
In the original version on other side there is a Psytron? Or Lords Of Midnight editor?
"Lords Of Midnight is fine, there is a demo of Psytron on side 2."-Steve. |
Master Of Universe - Arcade Game[US Gold] |
Game without Alcatraz protection. Very strange for US Gold games. May be ERBE (or disk) re-release version mentioned on WoS/Vault as original?
"Masters Of The Universe - Arcade is a standard ROM loader, not an Alkatraz loader..."-Steve. |
Match Day[Ocean/The Hit Squad] |
Checked and it is Speedlock-1 (not S-4 or S-7). |
Metropolis[Power House] |
Missing screen. Tap version have it. Tzx version
also have block with lenght 6912 bytes, but he is don't load as loading screen, may be, because
that's not original release?
"There seems to have been an error when the tape was produced, if you check,
the BASIC loader just has LOAD "" CODE for the loading screen. The header
for the loading screen instructs the computer to load the 6912 bytes to
address 32768!! And then the game data is loaded from address 24000,
effectively overwriting the loading screen.
If the BASIC loader had had LOAD "" CODE SCREEN$ or LOAD "" CODE 16384 for
example then there wouldn't have been a problem.
I've created a fixed version of the .tzx file, which I'll release with a
redumped version of the game, just for completeness."-Steve. |
Mig Busters[Players/EDOS] |
There's no missing 128k version. |

Mountie Mick's Death Ride[Reaktor] |
Speedlock-4.. |
Mr.Heli[Firebird] |
There is no missing B side. |
Postman Pat-3[Alternative] |
Game don't work in 128k mode ("sprite" errors), but on inlay wrote, what game have "48&special 128k versions".
"Postman Pat 3 is okay. If you load it in 128k (toaster) or 128k +2
(grey) it's show the corruption as mentioned. However, if you load it in 128k +2a
(Black) or +3 mode it works. Therefore it was probably developed around the time of the
change in the ROM by Amstrad. "-Andrew. |

Swat![The Power House] |
"Swat has been checked and the current tzx file is correct."-Steve. |

Sprite-errors in 128/+2 mode. Errors occur when the character begins to run to the left.

All work fine on 128/+2 machines in 48k mode. |
Task Force[Players Premier] |
May be original .tzx version is missing. Must be re-dumped sides A and B (48&128k versions).

it appears it's a 48k game only which is compatible with 128k machines."-Steve. |
Yie Ar Kung-Fu[Imagine] |
Missing 128k version. Different release?
"The original release of Yie-Ar Kung Fu was 48k only. The 128k snapshot comes from the "Stars on the 128" compilation."-Steve. |
Yie Ar Kung-Fu[Imagine/The Hit Squad] |
Speedlock-1 protection confirmed. |
