Note |
Draughts Genius[Hewson] |
Missing title screen in tzx version. Tap-file and YS-covertape have it.
"Draughts Genius has been checked from my original and there is no title
screen. Perhaps subsequent releases of the game did include one, but the
Rack-It original did not."-Steve.
Seems like, what Rack-It also published enchanted tape version with loading screen. |
Feud[Bulldog] |
On WoS , .tap version has 128k music melodies. May be Bulldog also released 128k version. |
Loopz[Audiogenic] |
"Checked Loopz and both sides are the same, it's a 48k game that is
compatable on 128k machines."-Steve.
There can be in 128k version length of blocks same as in 48k version:
Loopz-128k. |
New York Warriors[Virgin Games] |
Missing levels 5-7.
"OK, I've redumped the tape from the original and play tested it to the end
of level 4... The game does indeed ask for level 5 data... However, the tape
I've dumped is correct and the same as the current .tzx file...
So I can only assume that there was a mastering error when the tape was
duplicated and that the levels are missing from the original tape... There
must be a revision 2 of the game with the extra levels intact...."-Steve. |
Ocean Conqueror[Rack-It] |
May be in archive "corrupted" tzx version mentioned as original. Compare game menu screens:
Menu from covertape (SU or YS):

And, game menu in "original" version:

"Just checked Ocean Conqueror and the current .tzx file is correct. It's been
redumped from a Rack-It original tape and the menu screen is also blank!!!"-Steve.
Rack-It released different version (with normal 'game menu' screen)? |
Plum-Duff[Bug-Byte] |
I'm not sure, what in archive original release. Game have excellent 128k melodies, but don't load
in 128k mode!...May be missing 128k release. |
Trailblazer[Gremlin] |
Missing 128k version with ay sound (as in Ricochet re-release). Sibe B or special 128k release?. |
